Mr. Phillips has over 25 years of accounting and financial management experience, including more than 20 years in the property and casualty insurance industry. His duties at PacificComp include working with reinsurance intermediaries on reinsurance placements for the company and the development of short and long-term financial plans within the budget process. Wayne is also directly involved in the development of PacificComp’s Own Risk Solvency Assessment (ORSA) and the preparation of numerous other reports for functional regulators and financial rating organizations.
Prior to joining PacificComp in 2003, Wayne served as a Corporate Finance Manager at WellPoint Health Networks and as Director of Financial Planning at Fremont Compensation Insurance Company. He began his finance career in 1991 with Amwest Insurance Group. He earned a B.A. in Economics from California State University, Northridge.
